In response to the CDCs recommendation that everyone should wear a mask in public, D4G sewists have transitioned to sewing masks for their local US communities, essential workers free of charge. D4G sewists are also sewing masks for the children of Kids Alive International in Dominican Republic. With a goal of over 2500 masks, we need your help!
In resonse to the crisis, D4G has released funds for the Kenyan team to increase liquid soap production, sew masks, and purchase necessities for the Grace Community Center's relief efforts.
The Kenyan Sewing enterprise has also transitioned to sewing masks for their community. Gladys and Mary are sewing to provide masks to the Deaconess teams, deaf school, and immediate community. There is increasing food insecurity in Kenya as a result of the stay-at-home order.
Please keep our Kenyan sisters and brothers in your prayers and consider making a donation.
Digntiy4Girls partnered with Liberian Children's Ministries to provide Zwedru Lutheran Church with funds for mask-making. The beautiful masks have allowed over 300 church members to safely worship and go to the market.
